Join us for a sparkling evening of celebration and hope capped with our Research Award and "Hope for Tomorrow" Diamond Drawing.
The inaugural Sparkle with Hope ... A Night to Shine for the Breast Cancer Network of WNY will take place Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the Forbes Theater @ 500 Pearl. This fundraising event, complete with a drawing for a one-carat diamond, will support local breast cancer patients and survivors through the programs of the Breast Cancer Network of WNY with a portion of the proceeds directed to breast cancer research.

The Cocktail Hour with open bar and passed Hors d'oeuvres, begins at 6:00 in the WXYZ Lounge, Silent Auction items will be on display in the Lounge and bidding will be open until 8:00 PM.
At 7:00 we will move to our designated tables and seats inside The Forbes Theater for a plated dinner of steak and chicken (with vegan, GF, and vegetarian options) and dessert. The open bar will continue throughout dinner until 8:00 PM.
The Sparkle with Hope program, MC'd by Kimberly LaRussa of Sweet Buffalo,will begin at approximately 7:45. The program will consist of the BCN Volunteer of the Year Award, remarks from BCN Board President Michelle Swaggard and BCN Executive Director Rob Jones. The program will also include the announcement of BCN's annual TREE OF HOPE research award and remarks from the awardee.
The evening will culminate with the exciting HOPE FOR TOMORROW Diamond Drawing. The winner will receive a beautiful one-carat diamond and tickets for the drawing will be available online throughout the evening and 2 weeks prior to the event.
Tickets are $150 per person
The Forbes Theater and WXYZ Lounge are located in the 500 Pearl building along with the Aloft Hotel on the block of Pearl, W. Tupper, and Franklin Streets. MAP Access to the parking ramp is from Pearl St.
Parking will be available in the 500 Pearl parking ramp with direct indoor access to the event
The Open Bar is from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and the bar will be open on a cash basis after 8:00
Attire is semi-formal
Silent Auction bidding and Hope for Tomorrow Diamond Draw raffle tickets are available through our online auction page and will be available starting a week before the event
