Imagine leaving a doctor’s appointment after hearing the words, “You have breast cancer.”

You have a medical team and a plan for treatment, but the questions don’t stop when you get home. Who can you talk to who truly understands? Where can you turn when you feel overwhelmed?

That’s where Breast Cancer Network of WNY comes in.

Medical teams provide essential care for the disease. BCN helps people navigate the personal and emotional challenges that come with it. Through our free programs, women facing breast cancer in Erie and Niagara Counties can find practical resources, encouragement, and a community that understands.

That support might begin with a TLC Tote filled with helpful resources and comfort items. It can grow through a conversation with a peer mentor, a support group, or a much-needed break from treatment through a wellness class or Day of Renewal.

As one support group participant shared: “BCN gave me hope, encouragement and unlimited support.”

Our vision is to make this support more personal and more connected, so that more people can find the resources and relationships they need from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
